Claire Hall is a professional artist working predominantly in glass from her studio in Brockley, North Somerset. She originally trained in Fine Art Sculpture at UWE, Bristol and transitioned to glass whilst living in the remote mountains of West Virginia during the 1990s.
Her glass sculptural installations, vessels and jewellery are exhibited internationally and throughout the UK, residing in many public and private collections. Claire regularly teaches masterclasses and lectures online and abroad and is a member of The Contemporary Glass Society and Chair of North Somerset Arts.

Inspired by the local coastline, Claire’s work captures remembered sensations and experiences within the landscape. Her refreshingly different approach to kiln formed glass through recycling fusible sheet glass by heating and quenching, combined with ink drawing and digital imagery culminates in a unique body of work.
