WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION
FEATURING THE WORK OF SEAN WEEKLY
We are excited and proud to showcase the stunning wildlife photography of local resident Sean Weekly at the Folk Hall on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29 September. Sean's work takes him all around the globe capturing magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. This entirely FREE exhibition is a great opportunity for everyone to view wildlife images from some of the furthest corners of the world! We hope it will inspire and educate; stimulating conversations about these beautiful species, the environment and sustainability. |
A Message from Sean
"My interest in photography started when I moved to Singapore, which is full of such diverse nature and wildlife that it was impossible not to take an interest. I had wild long tailed macaques monkeys living opposite me in a nature reserve together with snakes, lizards and tropical birds... all within a stones throw away. This ignited the ongoing passion I have for wildlife and photography. That year, back in 2010, I purchased my first DSLR and people started taking a big interest in my images. After many hours of studying wildlife and photography as well as endless days out with my camera I began to reap the rewards of my hard work and slowly developed my own style. This passion and job has has taken me all over the UK and across Europe photographing a wide array of wildlife species. It is an absolute pleasure to be able to exhibit my work in my hometown of Portishead. I hope you will enjoy the images as much as I do! " Sean |
