The Great Big ArtPort Music Competition is open to all - any age, any level, any instrument, any voice. So whether you sing in a choir or in the bath, are an accomplished musician or are teaching yourself to play from scratch, this is for you!

Welcome to the very first ArtPort Music Competition! This is a competition for amateur singers and instrumentalists, choirs, bands and instrumental ensembles. There should be something for everyone!
Our competition will take place on Saturday 23rd September, at St Peter's Church in Portishead. Exact timings will be confirmed after all applications have been received.

You can be a complete beginner competing against other beginners, or you may be at a Grade 8+ level and want to compete against other experienced musicians. This event will be an opportunity to perform, get constructive feedback from an expert adjudicator and of course support other non-professional musicians in our community.
Our competition 'classes' will be grouped in ability level, and you can give this information as you progress through our application form.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
All you need to do is fill in the form below - it is quick and easy and takes a couple of minutes at most. We will ask you for your name, a contact email address, and some quick questions about what you sing/play, and what level you are at.
Then you MUST make sure you submit your entry fee by BACS to the ArtPort details provided. PLEASE REMEMBER to put APMC in the reference field. (If the surname of the contestant is different to that of the payer, please let us know this too).
A small competition entrance fee of £5/7 (depending on category) will be charged, to cover venue hire and make the competition possible.
