SUSANNAH CROOK | EARTH PIGMENT ARTIST
Susannah is a professional artist living close to the North Somerset coast.
Her inspiration is this local landscape: the rocks, the pebbles and the geological features, through which she aims to represent our timeless and precious world.
Susannah’s work is created with natural earth, mineral and botanical pigments which she forages for and grows. Becoming more ecologically aware and using sustainable materials wherever possible, has become a very important part of her practice.
Susannah has recently started to work on ash panels made especially for her at Westonbirt Arboretum; giving the 130 year old ash trees that have been sadly felled a new lease of life.
